Full-Time Fire Suppression Service Technician

B-Lann Equipment is seeking an experienced, full-time Fire Suppression Service Technician to join our team. If you are committed to safety and quality work, we invite you to apply.

Responsibilities and Duties

As a technician, you will be crucial in ensuring the operability and compliance of our clients’ fire safety equipment. This 40-hour per week position requires a technician who can independently manage a variety of tasks, including: 

  • Inspecting, testing, and servicing portable fire extinguishers according to NFPA standards.
  • Installing, inspecting, and repairing both simple and complex Kitchen, Industrial, and Clean Agent fire suppression systems.
  • Running and installing low voltage wiring associated with fire suppression systems.
  • Working independently on assigned routes and effectively collaborating with our team when necessary. 
  • Proving excellent customer service while interacting with clients on-site. 

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a fire suppression service technician.
  • Strong computer literacy skills.
  • A clean, valid New York State driver’s license.
  • Willingness to travel periodically for required training and certifications. 

Compensation and Benefits

  • Pay: Competitive hourly wage ranging from $20 to $30 per hour, depending on experience.
